Characterization of Simulator for Water Level Control in the Tank Single Loop

Abstract

This paper presents a simulation of water level control in the tank, it has an objective to know the characteristics of the simulator to create mathematical model and simulation using Matlab/Simulink. From the modeling results, the process tank on the simulator, has a gain of 2536 m /s2 and time constant 124 seconds. Furthermore, by Root Locus analysis, it can be known that the system is stable.
